BILLINGS - Billings police officers were investigating an early morning shooting in the 800 block of Avenue B.
Officer responded at 3:44 a.m. to a report of a 26-year-old male shot in the leg inside a vehicle by a male passenger, police said.
The injured man was transported to a hospital.
The suspect fled the scene.
Police later corrected the Twitter post below to indicate the shooting happened on Avenue B.
