Billings schools modify meals to mitigate COVID-19 spread

BILLINGS — Billings School District 2 will implement procedures for school meals to mitigate the risk of infection from COVID-19 starting Monday March 16, according to the district web site.

All self-serve salad bars will be removed from use with all fruits and vegetables being served by staff.

Commonly touched areas like condiment stations and lunch computer keyboards will be cleaned and sanitized in between classes.

All employees will continue to follow personal hygiene procedures established by the school's food-service provider Sedexo.
