BILLINGS — Billings is expecting a significant snowfall over the weekend, and that means many homeowners need help shoveling their sidewalks.

Many people physically cannot get it done, which is where the city's Snow Buddy Assistance and Volunteer Progam comes into play.

Snow buddies help out those who need assistance getting their sidewalks cleared after a snowstorm in Billings, and there are more people in need than volunteers signed up to help.

Code Enforcement regularly gets calls from the elderly or people with physical challenges who need a helping hand with snow removal.

Please contact them at 237-6146 to get your name added to the Snow Buddy Volunteer List. You can also sign up through the city website here https://account.civicplus.com/identity/CivicPlusLogin?signin=bc85e74b702157930e80e4dbe918f870
