BILLINGS — None were injured in a house fire that occurred at 802 South 32nd St. in Billings around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a release from the Billings Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
A family was inside the home when the fire started, but were able to get out safely.
The fire caused an estimated $200,000 in damages that included fire damage to the garage and smoke damage to the home's interior, according to the release. Both the home and its contents were insured.
Homeowner Marilyn Fry expressed her appreciation for the Billings firefighters Sunday afternoon. She said they displayed extreme professionalism in their work while at the same time showing care for her family in their time of need.
