Day of the dogs: First Billings Howl-o-ween to be held downtown

BILLINGS — This Halloween is going to the dogs.

The first Downtown Day of the Dogs: Howl-o-ween takes place on Saturday, Oct. 26 and is part of efforts to increase the pet-friendliness of the downtown Billings area.

Various downtown businesses will be participating by offering treats for dogs and humans.

There will be give-aways and professional pet photos to benefit the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter.

Pups can compete in a costume contest.

The downtown Downtown Business Association will kick off the festivities.
