Update 5:40 a.m. Thursday

BILLINGS - An investigation is ongoing after fire crews responded to a fire at Brown's Rebuild Center in Billings on Wednesday night.

The fire brought a large response to 2nd Avenue North, with Billings fire crews deploying significant resources to the scene.

Eight engine companies, made up of 32 firefighters and an ambulance, were on-scene for much of Wednesday night.

Brown's Auto is a large, 8,400-square-foot building, and crews say they had to adjust their strategy early to fight a fire in such a vast space.

Crews say the fire was brought under control and extinguished quickly, but aren't able to release more information at this time.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
