For some, the anticipation of spring also brings the excitement of the latest to make your home better.

The 37th annual Spring Home Improvement Show features more than 650 booths at the Expo Center, the Montana Pavilion and outside at MetraPark.

The promoters say 90 percent of those businesses come from the Billings area, which they say indicates a good local economy.

Some look for help while others will work on their own projects, both inside and outside.

"The best thing about improving your home is you're able to live your investment," said Beau Hedin, show promoter. "So you're able to invest into your home but you're also enjoying it. I love walking through the show just as much as anyone in the public and seeing what's out here because it is just so darn neat. I know it sounds kind of hokey, but what I love is that you can experience spring. You're not only seeing spring, you're smelling spring and it's just the experience of knowing spring is just around the corner and being able to experience it here first."

The Spring Home Improvement Show and finishes Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MetraPark.
