It's a way to show support for healthcare workers, essential workers, and first responders, but it's also a chance to enjoy some fun in an otherwise socially distant time.
Howl for Billings arrived this weekend and saw residents stepping outside at 8 p.m. to yell, shout or howl.
A Facebook group introduces the daily event this way:
This group is to support the front line.
Please respect Governor Bullock’s, Executive Order to shelter in place while participating. HOWL for BILLINGS will start every night at 8:00 p.m. while we are sheltering in place.
Thank you, for joining us, while we lift our healthcare workers, police, firefighters, and other essential workers up with our HOWLS and CHEERS.
