BILLINGS — A group of Lockwood students donated 50 homemade pumpkin pies to those in need for Thanksgiving.
Members of Lockwood's Family, Career and Community Leaders of America group recently hosted a "Pie It Forward" event, selling pies for $12.
Students gave up lunch hours and stayed after class for a week to make 150 pies, according to Ashley Koss of Lockwood Schools.
For every pie purchased, one was donated to the Montana Rescue Mission.
