BILLINGS — Billings Police are investigating a shooting where a 33-year-old Billings man was shot in the abdomen by a 37-year-old Billings woman inside a residence on the 1700 block of Lake Elmo Drive at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, according to a police tweet.
"The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries," the tweet read.
19-2557 Shooting - 1700 blk of Lake Elmo, Domestic call in which a 33 male sustained a single gun shot wound to the abdomen during a physical fight with a 37 female. The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No danger to the community.

The shooting happened inside a residence during a "physical fight" between the man and the woman, according to the tweet.
The weapon used was a pistol, Billings Police Sgt. Shane Winden told Q2 over the phone.
All parties involved have been detained. No charges have been filed and the investigation remains ongoing.
There is no threat to the community.
