LAUREL — The Montana State Firefighters Memorial in Laurel is holding a virtual 5K from June 18 – 21. Last year’s inaugural race was a huge success, but due to the pandemic, this year’s race was made a virtual run to ensure everybody’s safety.

“Essentially you sign up as if it’s a normal race,” said Angela Klein-Hughes, co-race director. “You get together with your friends and family. Then you will get a bib and a shirt, put it on and then go do your own 5K. Anywhere, anytime within the time frame we are allowing it to be done and completed it on your own.”

You can also support by donating and buying a shirt. All proceeds go to improving and maintaining the Montana State Firefighters Memorial in Laurel.

Once you run the race and send in your time, you will get your finisher medal in the mail.
