A motorcycle struck a Billings police car that was responding to a robbery report on Billings West End Wednesday afternoon.
Billings police said in a tweet that the officer was northbound at the 2500 block of Yellowstone Avenue with lights and sirens on just before 1 p.m.
The motorcycle was heading east on Broadwater Avenue and hit the vehicle.
The rider was transported to a local hospital, and an investigation is ongoing.
6/24/20 @ 1258 hours, officers were responding to a robbery in the 2500 block of Yellowstone Ave. An officer with lights and sirens N/B on 24th St W was struck by a MC that was E/B on Broadwater Ave. The rider was transported for injuries and an investigation is ongoing.
