BILLINGS — One person was sent to a Billings hospital with minor injuries after a hit and run accident at the intersection of fifth Street West and Grand Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Billings Police Sgt. Clyde Reid.
Reid said the driver of an RV ran a red light at the intersection and struck a red Ford Explorer and fled the scene of the crash.
The RV was abandoned on Division Street near the YMCA. Witnesses told police a man and woman who looked to be Native American left the RV on foot.
Police were not able to apprehend the suspects. Reid said the RV was towed off the street.
