At least dozens lost power in Lockwood Tuesday night after a power pole was knocked down by a vehicle in a hit and run on Becraft Lane.

In addition, Becraft Lane has been shut down between Quinella Drive and Starlight Drive, and Yellowstone Valley Electric crews have responded to the scene.

The vehicle was heading east on Becraft when it struck the pole, knocked it over and continued driving, according to a Yellowstone County sheriff's deputy.

The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating.

The outage was reported before 6:30 p.m.

This is a developing story.
