BILLINGS — Billings city leaders will hit the ground to talk public safety in a presentation about the upcoming public safety mill levy vote under the South Park Gazebo starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
City officials will answer questions and inform those in attendance about the mill levy that would bring in an additional $4 million for the city if approved.
Two more presentations remain before ballots in the all-mail election go in the mail to voters on Aug. 29. Both presentations are scheduled to start at 7 p.m., one on Aug. 26 at Amend Park near the gazebo and one on Aug. 27 at North Park near the middle shelter.
Ballots are due back to the Yellowstone County Elections Office by Sept. 15 at 8 p.m.
A pre-recorded presentation is available for the public to view on the city's web site for those who can't make the presentations. Click here to view the recording and more information about the levy.
