BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College will not return to on-campus learning for the remainder of the spring semester and graduation is going to look different.

The 2020 semester concludes on May 8. In addition, the college is altering its plans for the spring 2020 commencement ceremony.

On March 18, the college joined other educational institutions in Montana to take steps to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and help protect the health and safety of students and community by moving all classroom instruction to online or alternative instruction.

All college events and college-sponsored travel were also canceled for the remainder of the semester.

The spring 2020 commencement ceremony, scheduled for May 9, will be conducted in a virtual format, complete with the conferring of degrees, a charge from President Wilmouth, and a guest commencement speaker. More details will be released soon.

Additionally, all graduates from the class of 2020 will be invited back to campus in May 2021 for a dual commencement ceremony with the class of 2021.
