BILLINGS — The second suspect who led Billings police on a six-hour chase on Aug. 6 was apprehended Monday by authorities in Butte at a Taco John's drive-thru, according to Silver Bow County Sheriff Ed Lester.
Lester said Silver Bow sheriff's deputies were called in to assist the U.S. Marshals with the arrest of 32-year-old Brian Prettyweasel, the second suspect in a Shepherd shooting and ATV theft.
Prettyweasel backed into another car in the drive-thru before he was taken into custody, Lester said.
Prettyweasel and 29-year-old Teylon Fritzler led Billings police and Yellowstone County sheriffs deputies on a car chase and manhunt through the Billings heights on Aug. 6. Fritzler was taken into custody the same day.
On Aug. 7, Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder asked for the public's help in finding Prettyweasel, who was thought to have escaped the heights through transportation to the Billings South Side.
