The Yellowstone Art Museum and Billings Symphony Orchestra announced Friday they are canceling this summer's Symphony in the Park.
The museum also announced that it's moving its popular Summerfair event to a virtual one from June 22 through June 28. For more information, click here.
Organizers of another local event, the annual Heart & Sole Run, also said Friday they are switching to a virtual run, held anytime between June and July 4 at any place. Click here for more information.
Organizers of Symphony in the Park said they said didn't believe they could adhere to proper social-distancing guidelines at Pioneer Park and ensure the safety of all attendees.
They noted that the event typically on regional and national travel of more than 100 musicians and artists and attracts up to 10,000 people.
