A 17-year-old Fort Smith girl died Friday morning in a one-vehicle rollover crash in on Highway 313 in Big Horn County, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The girl was driving south on Highway 313 at 7:11 a.m. in a Chevy Suburban when she drifted off the road and overcorrected at mile marker 39 near Fort Smith.

The vehicle then rolled over and ejected the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to troopers.

Road conditions were clear, and the girl was not wearing a seat belt, according to the highway patrol.

Troopers say they suspect alcohol and speed were factors.

This the 103rd fatality on Montana roads this year, according to the highway patrol.
