Teen missing from Crow Reservation found safe

A 15-year-old girl reported missing Tuesday from the Crow Reservation has been found safe, according to the FBI.

Mya Madplume was located Wednesday, FBI officials said in a Thursday news release.

A Missing Endangered Person Advisory was issued Wednesday by the Montana Department of Justice.

The following agencies helped the FBI locate Madplume: the Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Justice Services, Crow BIA Social Services, Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services, Blackfeet Child & Family Services, Great Falls Police Department, Cut Bank Police Department, and Ernie Weyand, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Program Coordinator for the District of Montana.
