BILLINGS — Billings Firefighters are to be credited with their quick response and containment of a fire that happened Sunday afternoon on the north side of Billings.
At approximately 4 p.m. firefighters were called to what was reported to be a vehicle fire at 2210 9th Avenue North, according to Battalion Chief Darreck Mitchell.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw that the fire had extended into the garage of the single story house, and were able to contain it in about 10 minutes.
Mitchell credited the crews for their quick response.
No injuries are reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
