USS Billings goes into dry dock in Florida
The ship is now going through a post shakedown phase after months of testing and training.
It will allow time out of water to fix and repair anything or do any updates.
The maintenance period will last four to six months.
The crew also wore protective masks provided by Visit Billings.
Once the maintenance is completed, the USS Billings will then get underway on her first full deployment somewhere in the world.
