Strong winds whipped through the Yellowstone Valley and touched all four corners of the state.

Billings saw gusts of 35 mph and a high temp of 61 degrees. The wind shook trees, cars and kicked up a dust cloud on the west end of town that could be seen from the top of the Billings Rimrocks.

Wind flipped a semi-truck on US Highway 93 between Florence and Stevensville in the afternoon.

In the Great Falls area, strong winds forced the closure of US Highway 87 from Great Falls to Fort Benton and US Highway 89 between Sand Coulee junction and Belt.

Check the MDT road report site for updates on when those roads will reopen.
