SHERIDAN, Wyo. - A man was killed when the pickup truck he was driving struck a deer.
The crash happened Monday shortly after 6 a.m. at mile post 3 on U.S. Highway 14 east of Sheridan, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The driver of a 1991 Ford F-350 pickup truck, 43-year-old Jeremy H. Anderson of Sheridan, was eastbound when the truck struck a deer in the roadway. Anderson steered left after striking the deer, causing the truck to go off the highway and overturn, the patrol said.
Anderson was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital, the patrol said.
