Update 7:21 p.m. - An 22-mile stretch of I-90 has closed from Hardin to Crow Agency, according to the Montana Department of Transportation.
Deputies are posted on the freeway directing traffic off the road at Hardin.
The road conditions are ice and Black Ice with freezing rain and wind, acording to the Montana Department of Transportation.
Further east on I 90, the Lodge Grass section reports Severe Driving Conditions.

Westbound Interstate 90 has closed from Ranchester, Wyo., to the Montana state line because of winter conditions Friday afternoon, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
The estimated opening time is unknown, and viewers have told Q2 that vehicles were backed up with numerous spinoffs between Garryowen and Lodge Grass.
Forecasts are calling for more snow to hit the area later Friday and into Saturday.
Big Horn County Sheriff's Office told Q2 Friday afternoon that I90 remains "a solid sheet of ice" on the Montana side. No reports of serious accidents, according to the sheriff's office, but there have been numerous slideoffs.
