Update: Bozeman restaurant manager says he’s not hosting Trump Jr. event

Update 4 p.m. – The Midtown Tavern says it is not hosting next Tuesday’s campaign event for Matt Rosendale featuring Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

According to manager Jeff Wilcox, the Midtown Tavern was not aware who the event would include when it was booked. Wilcox added that the Midtown Tavern does not take political sides and the event was being moved to another location.

MTN News has reached out to the Rosendale campaign but have not yet received a response. We will report updated information as we receive it.


HELENA, Mont. – Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, will campaign in Bozeman for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale next Tuesday, according to a statement from Rosendale’s campaign organization.

According to the statement, Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle will hold a campaign rally with Rosendale at Midtown Tavern in Bozeman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Guilfoyle, currently dating Trump Jr., is a former Fox News co-host.

It’s Trump Jr.’s second visit to Montana to stump for Rosendale, who is seeking to unseat Democratic incumbent Jon Tester. The president’s son came to Billings in June. President Donald Trump has come to Montana twice to support Rosendale, once inGreat Falls and once inBillings.

Vice President Mike Pence has also campaigned in Montana, stopping in Billings to give a speech touting Rosendale and tax reform.
