DEER LODGE – A Monday morning standoff in Deer Lodge ended with police shooting the suspect, who is currently in the hospital.
There is no word on his condition.
An eyewitness says that law enforcement exchanged fire with a resident inside a home off Higgins Street in Deer Lodge on Monday morning.
An ambulance was called to the scene. Deer Lodge police, the Montana Highway Patrol and other agencies are on the scene.
