STEVENSVILLE – Stevensville Police Chief James R. Marble said Monday night that authorities have received information that a student “conveyed a threat upon other students” at Stevensville High School.

Marble said that the incident was promptly investigated by himself and School Resource Officer Kevin Oberhofer.

Marble said that the student involved has been arrested and charged with intimidation.

Marble said police have maintained close contact with Stevensville school officials throughout the investigation and both entities remain committed to the safety of all students, staff and faculty.

Classes will take place as scheduled on Tuesday, with police saying they are confident the incident has been contained.

Marble said the SRO will be available at the school throughout the week and students and parents should feel free to contact law enforcement and school administration if they have questions or concerns.
