MISSOULA – Missoula police are continuing to investigate after anti-Semitic flyers were distributed in some city neighborhoods.

Missoula Police Department spokesman Sgt. Travis Welsh says detectives are gathering information from citizen reports and also working with the University of Montana Police Department as the investigation continues.

Law enforcement is working “to determine what crimes may have been committed in regard to the dissemination of the flyers, and the identity of those involved,” Sgt. Welsh stated in a news release.

Anyone with information about the flyers is asked to contact Missoula Police Detective Devin Erickson at (406) 552-6291.

Welsh also says that police responded on Tuesday morning to a report of vandalism at a motel in the 1400 block of West Broadway. A witness reported seeing two males spray-painting Swastikas on a building at that location.

The officers made contact with the two suspects who were still in the area, identified them, and charged each with criminal mischief.
