GREAT FALLS- The Montana Department of Transportation is reporting several areas of nearly whiteout conditions along north-central Montana’s highways Saturday morning.

MDT reports that blowing and drifting snow is reducing visibility on roadways along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Alerts for severe driving conditions have been issued for I-15 including between Vaughn and Brady.

Light-to-moderate snow is moving through Central Montana. Areas of isolated snow are up to 50 mph gusts.

The National Weather Service reported that snow and blowing snow could linger into the afternoon and continue to push southward.

The area is still under a Winter Weather Advisory until 5 p.m.

With another snow storm expected over the weekend, travel will continued to be impacted.
