MARION – A fire department in Northwest Montana is mourning the loss of a colleague.
Marion Fire Department Chief Katie Mast has confirmed with MTN News that firefighter Tiffany Hamdan died in a freak motor vehicle accident on March 17.
Mast added that the accident was not while Hamdan was on shift at the firehouse.
According to Marion Fire Department’s Facebook page, Hamdan had been working with the fire department for four years and leaves behind four children.
“Tiffany, you will forever be missed, but we will take it from here,” the department stated in a social media post.
A GoFundMe account has been set up in Hamdan’s honor and to help her children and cover funeral expenses. Click here if you would like to make a donation.
