BOZEMAN – After revisiting its initial choice of name for Bozeman’s new high school, the school board has now voted to name the school Bozeman Gallatin High School.
The decision was made at Monday night’s school board meeting.
On Friday, the Bozeman School District released the results of its poll to name the second high school. With more than 10,000 votes tallied, voters across three groups all favored “Gallatin High School.”
The decision to reconsider the name the school board initially chose — Bozeman Westslope High School — came after community outcry over the name.
