WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS – At a block party in White Sulphur Springs, organizers of the annual Red Ants Pants Music Festival announced the 2019 lineup.
The 2019 festival will be headlined by seven-time Grammy award-winning musician Patty Griffin, along with acts that include Shakey Graves, Bobby Bare, Colter Wall, Valerie June, Suzy Bogguss, The White Buffalo, and others.
The festival will feature 30 acts between its main and side stage venues.
It will kick off with a free street dance in White Sulphur Springs on July 25 and run through July 28.
Festival Producer and entrepreneur Sarah Calhoun selects the acts that will perform at the annual event.
A portion of the proceeds from the four-day festival supports the Red Ants Pants Foundation, an organization that supports increasing women’s leadership, promoting rural communities and helping working family farms and ranches.
In 2018, the festival was named the Event of the Year by the Montana Office of Tourism. It has grown from 6,000 attendees to 18.000.
