GREAT FALLS – Zachary James Lacroix, an airman stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, is facing one charge of sexual intercourse without consent after an incident earlier this month.

A woman told officers she had interacted with Lacroix at a local establishment and agreed to go to his residence, according to court documents. On Monday, the woman reported to police that she had been raped early Thursday morning.

While at Lacroix’s residence, she consumed several alcoholic beverages.

Court documents state the woman did not recall most of the night or any sexual engagements, but remembered waking up the next morning and “her body was sore.” She was also bleeding from some areas.

The woman sought medical attention on Sunday and learned she had a laceration. She also had bruising on several areas of her body, according to court documents.

When questioned by police, Lacroix answered some questions before asking for an attorney, according to court documents.

Prosecutors are requesting bond be set at $25,000. They also want Lacroix to begin active alcohol monitoring.
