Four people died in a crash near Armington Junction Monday morning, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Wade Palen said that two other people were seriously injured in the crash reported about 8:45 a.m.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, nor has information about the number of vehicles involved.

The road south of Belt where U.S. highways 87 and 89 intersect was blocked as emergency crews worked to clear the crash site, but it has reopened.

Troopers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.

This is a developing story.
