It's been a record-setting summer in the nearby Bakken oil fields of North Dakota.
July's oil production set a new all-time high for the state's bustling oil industry at 1,442,000 barrels per day.
Natural gas production also soared to new highs at 2,947,000 MCF per day.
And the number of producing wells also set a new high in July with 15,943 producing wells.
As of this week, there are 62 active oil rigs operating in the Bakken, a far cry from the region's all-time high of 218 active rigs set back in 2012.
