Bitterroot National Forest offices will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
President Trump issued an Executive Order closing Federal offices.
Regular office hours will resume Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2, respectively.
Permits to harvest a Christmas tree on the Bitterroot National Forest are still available.
Permits can be obtained at Forest Service offices and local vendors.
