The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming announced Tuesday they are suspending delivery of Girl Scout cookies because of the coronavirus pandemic.

While the delivery of pre-ordered cookies and booth sales are delayed, there is a way receive additional Girl Scout cookies. Sales have been extended via girls’ digital “store” where people can order Girl Scout Cookies online [digitalcookie.girlscouts.org], pay for shipping and handling, and receive them in 3-5 days directly from the baker. This option is not available for cookies previously ordered.

The Girl Scout of Montana and Wyoming will donate to healthcare workers in both states for cookies purchased online starting March 24.

Kristi Osterlund of the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming provided this additional information:

Delivery of pre-ordered Girl Scout Cookies, which would typically happen about this time, will happen later than usual. Suspending the Cookie Program also means Girl Scout Cookie booths, previously scheduled to begin on March 27, will be postponed. Unfortunately, the date for the resumption of the Cookie Program is not yet known.

There is a way to still support Girl Scouts and receive (additional) cookies. GSMW has extended the sale via girls’ digital “store.” By paying shipping and handling, folks can order Girl Scout Cookies and receive them in 3-5 days directly from the baker. This option is not available for previous orders.
