Three more people in Montana died of influenza, bringing the total to nine statewide since October, the state's Department of Public Health and Human Services reported Friday.
The agency reported 1,200 new cases, the most in a single week since the flu season began.
The season total is more than 8,500, and 361 patients have been hospitalized.
Yellowstone County saw 110 new cases this past week, bringing the county's total to more than 800 over the season. That's second to Gallatin County, which has seen more than 1,400.
