HAVRE — The Havre Herald reports that Lacey Kaide Arkinson of Rocky Boy has been identified as the teen who died after being hit by a vehicle on Thursday night.
Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross released her name Monday.
Arkinson, 16, was hit by a dark-colored Dodge Journey minivan at around 11 p.m., and the driver sped away. The suspect has not yet been identified or apprehended.
The FBI, Rocky Boy police, and other law enforcement agencies are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information about the suspect or the vehicle is asked to call the police department at 406-395-4513.
