GREAT FALLS - The man who was found dead in Great Falls early Sunday has been identified as Tristen Allen Carlson.
The Cascade County Sheriff's Office said on Monday that Carlson, 21, was an active-duty airman assigned to Malmstrom Air Force Base.
Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said that Carlson's family has been notified.
There has been no information released on the cause of death or any reports of arrests in connection with the death. Authorities originally reported the death was the result of a possibly shooting.
The Great Falls Police Department is continuing to investigate.
