A 19-year-old woman died in a fiery vehicle crash Wednesday east of Missoula.

Montana Highway Patrol Dispatch reports the woman was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 around 5:22 p.m., when her vehicle went off the right side of the road and into the area between the on-ramp and westbound lane.

MHP says the vehicle, a Ford Bronco, then went airborne over the on-ramp, landed and hit a tree near Turah. The vehicle then caught on fire. The woman died on the scene.

The woman’s name will be released from the Missoula County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office once the woman’s family has been notified.

MHP says speed is suspected in this accident.
