Montana COVID-19 cases jump to 27; new cases seen in Gallatin and Silver Bow counties

The number of COVID-19 cases in Montana rose Saturday to 27, according to the latest update on the state's tracking map.

Initial information from the map shows an increase from 4 to 7 cases in Gallatin County, and one new case in Silver Bow County.

The new cases listed on the map for Gallatin County are:

  • A man aged 50 - 59
  • Two men aged 60 -69

The prior four Gallatin County cases are two Gallatin County residents, one a man in his 40s, and the other a man in his 20s. There is also a confirmed case in a New Hampshire man in his 20s, and in a California man in his 60s.

The new case listed for Silver Bow County is a woman aged 60 - 69. The other confirmed case in Silver Bow is in a man in his 50s.
