HELENA — With just a few days left before Super Bowl LV kicks off in Tampa, Florida, Intralot, the sports betting service contracted by the Montana lottery to power Sports Bet Montana, and Simple Bet are teaming up to introduce a new way to bet on the big game.
In a press release to MTN from Simple Bet, Intralot and Simple Bet are introducing "micro-market" betting to Sports Bet Montana for the Super Bowl. According to the press release, "micro-market" betting will allow bettors using the Sports Bet Montana platform to bet on sporting events on a play-by-play basis. Bettors on the Sports Bet Montana platform are able to make in-game wagers, but typically on the outcome of the game.
The Simple Bet technology was first implemented in Washington, D.C., Montana will be the second market to see the combination of Intralot and Simple Bet. Montana Lottery was contacted via phone for comment on how Simple Bet's introduction will affect Sports Bet Montana, but did not immediately respond.
