Update: Suspect identified in fatal downtown Billings stabbing

Billings police have identified the suspect arrested following a fatal stabbing in downtown Billings.

Adriano Fowler, 25, is being held in the Yellowstone County jail on a possible charge of deliberate homicide, police said in a Monday press release.

Fowler is being held for the death of a 26-year-old man who was found deceased in an car Sunday morning behind the Rodeway Inn at 1315 N. 27th St. The victim's name has not been released.

Police said the victim suffered a large laceration on his arm. The injury was suffered during an altercation earlier near the downtown Hardee's restaurant, police said, and the victim apparently drove himself to where his body was found.

Police said they believe Fowler and the victim were "known associates."

BILLINGS - A police investigation has determined that a suspicious death in Billings was a homicide.

A male was found deceased in a car in the alley behind the Rodeway Inn on North 27th Street.

Detectives and the crime scene investigation van were present through the afternoon on Sunday.

The Billings Police Department said one man has been arrested in connection with the case and is booked in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.

His name and the victim's name have not yet been released.

Police will have more information available on Monday morning.
