A massive waterspout came ashore on Myrtle Beach on Sunday prompting a tornado warning at the vacation spot days after Florence hit the Carolinas with rain and flooding.
Video obtained by Reuters showed the giant waterspout making landfall in the resort town.
Authorities in Myrtle Beach began cleaning up Monday after remnants of Florence moved northeast, according to local news reports.
The storm, which dumped record rain on the Carolinas, has killed at least 31 people. Over 450,000 homes and businesses in the two states remain without power on Monday, down from a peak of nearly 1 million outages.
