BISMARCK, N.D.- The flooding Yellowstone River in North Dakota is now encountering another problem.

The state Department of Health reports an oil sheen on the floodwaters of the river.

Whiting Petroleum reported the incident, saying the oil sheen originated from a flooded well pad that had not been fully cleaned up from an oil spill.

The company is taking precautionary measures and deploying booms to block any further oil from getting out and to protect the oil tank battery.
