ARIZONA – A Goodwill store in southern Arizona found a purple heart medal among the donations back in mid-June and know they are trying to locate the family of the recipient.
The medal is engraved with the name Nick D’Amelio. A Nick D’Amelio was listed in the Navy and reported lost at sea in 1943.
Let’s hope this precious medal finds its way to D’Amelio’s family.
