I’m moving on!
As you can imagine, my role at KTVQ these past 2 years has been fun, exciting, challenging and rewarding. I have been towed behind a shopping cart at Winco for On the Job with Rob. I have reported live during a blizzard in hip-deep snow. I have helped promote incredible local charities and service organizations. I have presented the weather on weekends and at other times during the week. And that’s just a few of the many highlights I have had the privilege of experiencing here.
I have been blessed to work for and with a team of amazing professionals, all wonderful people in their own right and in their profession. And each one of them is someone I consider to be a very good personal friend.
But, believe it or not, there is yet another role out there that I want to pursue over the next several years – and unfortunately it will take me away from my Q2 family and roles. I am returning to a position I held years ago with a local company, Northwest Scientific. They supply chemicals, materials and instruments to various labs across the western US. In that job I will spend a lot of time traveling about, meeting with clients, serving their specific professional needs, and following up on all the details. I'll even get to spend more time with my best friend and wonderful bride of 35 years, Tammy!
It is my hope and prayer that I have left viewers and colleagues in better shape than when I found them; they – and you – have certainly done that for me. And I am grateful beyond words. Thank you, and farewell!
