"Good evening America, before I begin my remarks, I'm going to do something a little uncharacteristic: A Trump is going to give up the microphone."

Kai Madison Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and the former president's granddaughter came out onstage to compliment the Republican candidate for president.

Kai is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump. According to her social media page, she says she is an avid golfer, with multiple photos showing her on her grandfather's courses.

Her most recent post showed Trump in the moments after the assassination attempt at his rally, which she captioned, "We love you Grandpa. Never stop fighting!"

He then went on to praise his father's actions in the moments he realized he had been grazed by a bullet and injured, and expressed disdain for the U.S. press.

"We won't ever forget the lies, from left-wing politicians, from their allies in the media," Trump Jr. said. "They lied about Hunter Biden's laptop, they lied about Joe Biden's fitness for office."

"Bridges are collapsing, our credibility is crumbling and our money is worth less every single day," Trump Jr. said. "Housing costs, gasoline prices and grocery bills just keep going up."

Trump Jr. then went on to suggest that President Joe Biden isn't running the country, suggesting it was being run by others, including Barack Obama. He then accused the government of taking "bookkeeping errors" and conflating them into major crimes.

This month, lawyers for the former President urged a judge in Trump's hush money trial in New York to overturn his conviction and dismiss the case. He is the first ex-president convicted of a crime.
